The LMP was created under Coram Automotive, and its subsequent development under Turner Automotive Design Ltd. For a variety of legitimate reasons the car never reached its potential under either of these companies, but the fundamental design was good and reviews of the first and second prototypes were encouraging. One of the car's original creators, Steven Turner, now runs Turner Auto Design as a sole-trader enterprise, as a branch of Clyde Auto & Marine Ltd. This set-up ensures a common point of reference throughout the LMP's history.

Moving forward to 2009, the LMP design has undergone significant review, with all of the recommendations and test results incorporated into what is now a more efficient and, we believe, much faster car. We have re-focussed it to ensure that it can operate competitvely against similar machinery in the burgeoning junior sportscar and hillclimb categories around the world and are confident it will bring success to those teams that chose to run it.

Operating from a 2000sq/ft workshop in the centre of Glasgow, the company now has a reliable team of staff behind it and we are currently planning the first build of the new generation of LMP. We are great believers in our product, and in the mantra: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again..." - we are driven by success.

If you are a race team that is struggling with costs in the current financial climate, the LMP should be your competition car of choice. We would be extremely interested in talking to such teams interested in competing with the LMP in 2010.
